EVIDENCE-BASED SENSORY ACCREDITATION

The Fit + In™ Certification

Transform your movement studio into an inclusive, low-friction environment. Grounded in occupational therapy research and environmental acoustics, our dual-phase accreditation equips studio owners and instructors with the tools to eliminate silent attrition, retain neurodivergent clients, and set the gold standard for sensory care.

Why Sensory Accessibility is Your Studio’s Biggest Retention Opportunity

More than 15-20% of the population is neurodivergent or experiences sensory sensitivities

Providing a calibrated space opens your doors to a loyal, highly engaged market.

Up to 75% of clients who experience sensory overload drop off silently without ever giving feedback

Fit + In™ protocols give your team the observational tools to catch overload before clients disengage.

Low-cost adjustments create big impact

Simple adjustments to lighting type, acoustic dampening, and cueing protocols create massive client retention without expensive studio renovations.

The 5-Module Online Curriculum

Phase 1: Online Theory & Environmental Audit

(5 to 6 Hours Learner Time, Delivered via Thinkific)

Foundational Frameworks and Clinical Sourcing:

Occupational Therapy and Sensory Processing: Lindsey Biel, OTR/L & Nancy Peske (Raising a Sensory Smart Child)

Sensory Ergonomics, LOUDS framework, and SOLACE Model™: Lacey Artemis / Neuromix Consulting (Public Space Comfort Survey Data)

Phase 2: In-Studio Practicum & Full Accreditation

Theory comes to life on the studio floor. Following completion of the online coursework, instructors undertake a 15-Hour In-Person Practicum at a designated partner studio space.

During the practicum, instructors log practical teaching hours applying multi-modal cueing, managing real-time ambient adjustments, and executing environmental audits during live class sessions. Upon successful completion and evaluation, instructors and studios earn full Fit + In™ Certified Specialist accreditation and placement in our public studio directory.
